The aidTrain Advantage

For many years, aidTrain’s team of training experts has designed and delivered highly-rated compliance training on a global scale. The training room’s best practices employed by these trainers were learned in the Training of Trainers course that every inducted trainer was required to attend. In forming aidTrain several years ago, this team sought to reintroduce face-to-face training back to a world that was leaning heavily to virtual. aidTrain recognized a need for the organic peer-to-peer learning that was missing in this virtual reality. In celebration of our mission to identify and equip the next generation of in-country compliance experts and trainers, aidTrain has built a brand new Training of Trainers course. The opportunity to build something new is always the chance to improve and we are excited to present the  an improved Training of Trainers course. Our learning programs are modeled on the best practices in adult learning. In today’s complex operating environment, learning has never been more important, and we take great pride in being your partner in professional and organizational development.

Trainers

Libby Spader Managing Partner

Libby Spader has designed and delivered Training of Trainers courses in the NGO sector for 20 years. Her course became the framework for the entire InsideNGO/Humentum training program with her as Director of Programs. While managing cohorts of trainers, Libby has maintained her skills as an active trainer herself, spending 16 years traveling the world as the main expert trainer for all TOT’s and a regular USAID compliance trainer. While on the road with training teams, Libby led efforts to keep curriculum updated and fresh, designing and delivering as to the specific needs of the audience at hand.

As a presentation coach, Libby assisted her training teams with facilitation skills coaching and development. All of Libby’s classrooms have included multiple cultures and languages, as is the case for learning events in our sector. Cross cultural dynamics is a topic given reverence in her TOT, as learner-centered classrooms must be accessible and safe for all adults. Libby has managed a variety of translations options and can recommend best practices.
