Session Overview

The USG rules and regs have been updated. Why not update your knowledge of the changes?

There have been significant updates to 2 CFR 200 that take effect October 1, 2024. What does this mean for your current and future awards? Do the revisions affect your subawards? Do you need to make changes to your operating policies and procedures to reflect the revisions? Do you have to implement the old and the revised regulations concurrently? Are the revisions retroactive?

aidTrain is offering a refresher course that will provide answers to these questions, and will walk you through the revisions in 2 CFR 200, USAID’s associated updates to the Standard Provisions and will provide tips, tools and resources that you can use to help ensure that you remain in compliance with USG requirements, your organization’s own standards, and information that will support the preparation for those planning for future USG funding.

Who should attend?

This 4 webinar course that will be presented over 4 days is ideal for those that have already taken a USAID rules and regs course within the past 5 years. As compliance is the responsibility of everyone, the course is applicable to staff at all levels and functions including operations, program implementation, compliance, and business development.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course participants will:

  • Have received information on the key aspects of the revisions including the “hidden revisions" in 2 CFR 200 and USAID’s revised interim Standard Provisions
  • Be able to cross reference the old and revised rules and regulations
  • Know the steps to be taken to incorporate the revisions into implementation of their current and future awards
  • Have tools, references and information that will enhance their compliance with USG requirements and their organization’s operating standards

This course will be presented by highly trained and experienced aidTrain facilitators that have studied the regulations extensively since they were announced in April 2024 and have been working with organizations to prepare them for the official application of the updates on October 1 and USAID’s early implementation from August 7.
